Since 2012, Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp has provided more than 900 all-expense-paid seats to combat-wounded and injured Veterans, giving them the opportunity to get back in the field, rediscover unity and purpose after service, and experience the outdoors alongside fellow combat Veterans.
We are asking our supporters to invest in the mission of Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp.
When we bring a combat-wounded Veteran into the field, we are not simply taking them hunting, fishing, or camping. We are bringing them back into a Unit. Our mission is built around camaraderie, accountability, purpose, and the opportunity to once again be part of a team that understands what it means to serve.
That responsibility means providing the right equipment so our Heroes can participate fully, effectively, and safely.
Our Team Leaders are combat Veterans themselves. They understand what it takes to operate in the field and the importance of having the right equipment to conduct safe, organized, and effective operations. We are currently fundraising for thermal scopes and headset hearing and communication systems as we build the field equipment inventory needed to support our Heroes and conduct our operations.
BA Global Defense has recognized the value of the WHHC mission and the impact our operations have on our Heroes.
In support of that mission, they have pledged a significant discount on the equipment WHHC purchases, helping us stretch every dollar we raise even further.
