Beginner Rod Building Class

Details: We just wrapped up our very first Rod Building Class for four Heroes in Texas. The Heroes and their families arrived Saturday morning and were eager to start their weekend full of camping, rod building and fishing. After the fishing rods were built, the owners of the Waterside Marina supplied a catered meal and showed everyone some true Texas hospitality. The next day the Heroes and their family went aboard the fishing boats and spent the day on Lake Houston catching Crappie, Catfish and White Bass with the fishing rods they built the day before. It was a weekend full of smiles and wholesome family fun. This trip would not have been successful without the support from a few Huffman locals, we truly thank you for supporting WHHC's Mission and the Heroes we have the honor of serving. We would also like to thank Mudhole for helping us gather the materials needed to conduct the class.
